When we’re making a movie, sometimes we have to go the distance. Linda Luhman is a badass Woman who plays Deb one of the main murderers, trudged through feet of snow last night at dusk to get some of our most important shots. She brought a toboggan with some plastic garbage bags for our gear, props and other supplies and then we all began the half mile journey into the woods. Stephen wore the 70’s snowsuit worn by Yvonne during the murder scene, Olive our crippled doggie fell in our boot holes and scuffed up her nub while Deb cursed me and the movie the entire way out to the “whack shack” where Chuckie used to shamelessly insult humanity after his wife finally left their abusive marriage. After getting the epic shots in the middle of the field Linda could walk the tree line which was much easier but still a huge pain in the ass. I tried my best to punch holes in the snow before her but it still hurt. She has bursitis in the hip and a bad knee….The back brace I’m hoping helped a little. And all for the love of art! I am so sorry Linda that I do not have the money to pay you what you are worth….I can say that I admire your strength, willpower, knowledge and wonderful talent! And not giving up on your intentions to work in this business. Linda was a State Patrol Dispatcher for 20 years and now is the office manager. She went to school for advertising and producing so we are lucky to have her around these parts in this pursuit as I do not have the mind….Thank you for totally bringing it and inspiring us all with all that you do in and outside of this project!!! Working with you is always good whether we’re on a stage, you’re holding a boom pole, infront of the camera or plotting moves on Facebook. “Rest in pieces Charlie”….#womeninfilm #wifi #minoritiesinfilm #wisconsinfilmmaker #indiefilmmakern #buttercreamproductions #meatrafflefilm

You guys are so awesome! Haven’t made a show yet, but I can’t wait to do so! Linda is one of the nicest, coolest ladies I’ve gotten to meet! ❤️
