Insulation!

So the winterizing process is surely underway…Just crawled out from under the trailer covered in itchy stuff!  But…it’s done!!!  Again, mad props to the people who do this on a regular basis…Wow!  I even figured out how to take apart the staple gun without shooting myself.  I am not a fan of pipewrap insulation…it falls apart while you’re using it…I like the foam stuff though that you just cut to size and slip on.   Right before that I received a phone call from Mr. Mark Stoner of Savage Arts that he has just been hired to be the recreation guy at the tribal center.  So, he can quit his cooking job!!  And make his art, inspire people and instill healthy programs!!   Such good news!!!  Pretty much his dream job happening now!!  I also heard back from the Creek and I’m going to start bartending there on Tuesdays night will be alright I suppose.  Right by my house, free dinner and a steady paycheck.  After this cup of chaga tea medicine, I think I’ll try and wash some of these fiberglass off and head to the Creek for the online bartending test.  I slid by four years for long enough without one…oh well.

Wowza!

So, I’m super grateful for all the gifts of life today.  I went to Marjorie’s this morning for a visit and there for me was a bag of clothes from Julie.  Two pairs of perfectly fitting jeans.  I couldn’t be luckier!!! Also a Wonder Woman Onesie that looks super warm!  Tavis gave me some extra insulation he had laying around so I can stuff under the trailer… I gave myself some chaga which tasted great even without the maple syrup!  A beautiful warm fall day, it was in the 70’s!  I got a little jaunt in the woods upon leaving Siren to see if there were more turkey tails but alas no, I had picked most of them.  I will check again in a couple of weeks.  Got some wonderful physical excersise hauling the logs out that my Daddio cut for me…Super blessed I am!!!  It appears that Olive’s ear mite situation is getting better too…Grateful as well for the motivation to write on the script too…it’s turning out well!  Love love love!

Another day in Hollywoods

Today was quite a lovely day.  Woke up at Cass’s cabin on Spirit Lake after a magical night lookin’ at the stars, playing ghosts in the graveyard with the kids, talkin’ to one of the sould sisters.  I slept very comfortably wrapped in the blankets of my loved ones.  One of Marjorie’s, Monty’s and my Momma.  Nothing better than that I say.  Went to the bakery and got some coffee and doughnuts, then met my Dad and Missy out at the trailer to begin to work.  I started chopping some wood this morning before my Dad got there and accidentally hit myself in the ankle with the ax.  That hurt!!!  I’ve been off kilter all day.   Twins with my Dad since he has a bad knee…Hoping it heals up soon, I have a lot to do this week to get ready for winter!!  At least I can plastic the windows myself…I learned how to seal leaks on a tin roof today as well.  Gooey tar.  I will have to get some more of that in the next couple of days at the hardware store…I’m a regular lately.  Found out that we have to get a new sewer pump…that will be good…won’t be something I have to pull out of the sess pool… Saving money is great, but some things are worth paying for although it’s super exciting to see my poo in all stages and to appreciate what some people’s jobs are.  I took a three hour nap after they left…had some interesting dreams about driving around L.A. with Paulie…now I’m working on some chaga tea in the crockpot…lots of projects I can work on as well.   Maybe I’ll build a dream catcher and think about my script or work on writing some music.  Gotta love that attention span!!!!  Just saw this super inspiring video of Mr. Rodgers speaking to the Senate…I totally agree with him…
